HERS Testing on Homestead Acres Home

We are having a HERS (Home Energy Rating System) completed out at the Homestead Acres house today. This involves an analysis of the homes energy efficiency in regards to the construction and plans of the home. This home was built with energy efficiency in mind using Structurally Insulated Panels instead of the traditional stick frame construction.
